Starting Your Own Business
Developing a Winning Business Plan

The Three Strategies Approach to Business Planning Development:

  1. Entrepreneurial Assessment Training Class: 2 hours
  2. Business Planning Class: 2 hours/1 time a week for 16 weeks
    1. 9 weeks classroom lecture
    2. 7 private-one-on-ones with instructor & computer lab
    3. (Pro-Bono) Legal and CPA consulting to those who take the course
    4. Difficult legal issues will be addressed on a sliding fee-scale
  3. Launching the Business Plan: 2 hours
    1. SBA certified Banker to review financing options
    2. Plus the steps to take to start your business

Cost: $860.00 (single) / $995 (2 person partnerships) *
Certificate issued upon completion; all books and materials included in the cost.
Classes Meet once per week for 18 weeks

* 2 person price includes 1 textbook, addtional textbooks are $60 each

This course fulfills and meets the food manager certification requirements for the State of Minnesota. QuickBooks Accounting Software

QuickBooks is a computerized accounting software designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It can be successfully utilized without prior knowledge of accounting principles. The course will include numerous opportunities for hands-on practice using this software.
